THIS IS ME
AS SEEN ON
...AND MORE

Hi! I'm Thiha Lu Lin, currently based in Myanmar known as Burma. From my passion for travelling, photography, video and sharing experiences, "Thiha, the Traveller" was born on Facebook since 2016. Actually, I become a blogger since 2012 as I blogged so many poems, short stories, reviews and travel stories through Blogger.com. At that time being, blogging is not popular as today. Local didn't want to surf blogs plus the military government banned all the blogging platforms, so that people need some technical skills to read blogs. Also, the internet data fees were quite high and very limited to have one. We have to think other ways for blogging and social media platforms are the best solutions we founded. Here in Myanmar (Burma), Facebook is the best blogging platform so far. All Myanmar Bloggers need to have one for blogging or vlogging.
Anyway, I currently work remotely as a travel blogger and author. I published my very first book on 17 October 2016, exactly on my B'day. Recently, I contributed with other authors for short stories collections book named "Doo Thi Ya Myout Dat Ta Gan" for Kyaw Soe Publisher and released in March'20. I am also freelance Master of Ceremony and have experiences over 200 events. I thought like being blogger is quite hard to earn for living before, especially in Myanmar. Most people exactly think like that. Some might also think I'm crazy for quitting my job to travel. Thanks God, I made it all happen! Today I am a successful full time travel blogger.
I wrote religious stories for Christian children in my teenage, short love stories, music review, celebrities interviews and life-style tips in local magazines, journals and newspapers. I am still writing travel articles in local newspapers "Myanma Alinn" and "The Global New Light of Myanmar" in English, travel magazines and in-flight magazines under the pen name Thiha Lu Lin. I have been featured in the list of “Top 10 Travel Bloggers” on The Myanmar Times in 2018 and also ranked sixth on The Myanmar Times “Top 10: Bloggers” list in 2019. Also, I've been featured in the list of “7 Must Follow Travel Bloggers” on We Media in 2018.
I always write my travel articles, blogs and itineraries based on my true experiences. Sometimes it is really hard to manage as I travelled by getting invited for press trips mostly. So I have to stay more by my own or struggle to go enough within time frame. But I love my final outcomes after all.
